Production of New Soul Orchestra's tour-de-force, self-titled debut album got underway back in late 2000. Digitally recorded at their home-built New Soul Studios, the rhythm tracks and orchestra overdubs were laid down in a series of recording sessions through 2000 and 2001. The tragic events of September 11th, however, led to a setback in the development of the album.

Production resumed in 2002, and the final touches -- vocals, additional overdubs, etc. -- were added, followed by the daunting task of mixing and mastering all of the tracks.  continued >
